Last night we had a pretty full table, maybe because we were playing cards or maybe my brother made it to the game. We had 8 players and started around 830pm. We played till midnight.

We played the normal Omaha High, Texas Hold’em, and Omaha High-low with Jim winning, Shirley coming in second, and Cheese coming in third. Frank the Tank was the bubble…sorry Frank.

On Keenan’s Birthday the cards showed him no love. He was knocked down again and again and again…some would feel sad for him, but not us.

So the first poker tourney at the house happened since the web site has been up. We had 10 guys a big turn out, so big we couldn’t play the normal tourney. Instead we played just Texas hold’em, the normal tourney is Omaha High, Texas, and Omaha Hi Low.  The game switches every round as the blinds go up, it makes for a much more interesting game.

I did not do too well tonight getting knocked out second behind my roommate who is horrible at cards, so i guess i am not much better. Oh well, it is for the love of the game…
