About Me
I am was born in 1978 somewhere in the suburbs of Philly, my parents are James Thomas DelPizzo and Anne DelPizzo.
I grew up Drexel Hill, PA. Went to Garrettford grade school until the third grade. Halfway through the third grade we
moved from one side of Drexel Hill to the other, and thus changed school. I went to Hillcrest Grade school from 3rd
to 5th grade. Drexel Hill Middle School from 6th - 8th grade.
Some of my happiest moments as a kid were working with my Grandfather. He was a stone mason and I would love to get up
early and jump in his dump truck and work. Learning how to lay bricks, build stone walls, point, or even when he dropped
me off at a work site and told me the side walk needed to be broken up and put in the back of the truck. I loved every
minute of working with him.
Between 8th grade and the end of my High School career, when I wasn't playing sports or in school I would be found working
at Drexeline Supermarket doing a variety of jobs, from stocking shelves, working the backroom, working in the deli,
or as a cashier. I also worked as a bouncer in high school on Sunday nights at the Shark Club.
I went to Monsignor Bonner High school where I was in the honors program and played football. It is also where I started
to learn my love for computers. We had a basic class on computers and once my fingers hit the keys I was off and running.
While most people were buying computers off the shelf i was going and buying pieces and building the computers from scratch.
I still remember when I convinced my mom to take me to an internet seminar where they showed what the internet was and how it worked.
After that seminar we got the internet at the house and I knew my future would be with computers.
I continued my education at the University of Pittsburgh were I went on to become a computer engineer.
While there I CO-OPed for Advanced Integration Group (AIG) building HMIs (Human Machine Interface).
and other programming projects. During my third rotation of CO-OP I was sent to Windsor Canada to work in a brand new tubing plant.
This is where they take huge rolls of metal and bend it to make tubing. The group I was apart of were in charge of testing all the I/O
switches throughout the plant.
After my graduating I was hired by AIG who contracted me out to Bombardier to port legacy code from a Linux OS to a Windows OS
for their Monorail systems.
After my six years of living away from my family, I decided to move back to the Philly area. I was quickly hired by a web
company called Tech Sense Solutions. Where I worked for 2 years before moving on to a bigger company Backe Communications. I worked
at Backe for three years before moving on to NetPlus Marketing.
